Bangkok – On January 31, 2023, Sunday, led by Mr. Dhanadham Pokthitiyuk, Chief Marketing Officer & Director of Sunday Ins Company Limited, attended the 2nd EVAT x EGAT Electric Motorcycle Conversion Contest for Business Opportunity press conference. This year is the first year for Sunday to support the contest.
It’s undeniable that nowadays, Thai people are more interested in the environment, especially in the automotive industry. It can be seen from Krungsri’s report that more than 70% choose to buy electric vehicles because of environmental considerations. In addition, referring to people who use petrol vehicles, The report adds that more than 80% are likely to switch to electric cars, which is considered a good sign.
The contest will be held on 5 – 7 May 2023 at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus (Awaiting official approval). The winner will win the Prime Minister’s trophy, General Prayut Chan-ocha, and money worth more than 450,000 baht. This year, students and the general public participated in the competition. There are 73 teams divided into 58 educational institution teams and 15 general public teams.

This contest aims to increase the environmental awareness of electric vehicle use among youth and the general public. This sponsorship is another small step for Sunday.
